This is also a burglar resistant door but built to a higher specification that will protect from a skilled burglar using heavy-duty burglary tools. As with the SKYDAS Standard 2, construction was created applying our extensive knowledge of all possible ways and methods of burglary. Burglar resistance of the SKYDAS Standard 3 security door was tested and approved by the IFT Rosenheim laboratory in Germany, and was awarded the 3rd security class (WK3) according to the ENV 1627 standard. The locks installed in this door model must be no lower than level 5 security class and at least one lock must be protected by a drilling proof plate.
As with the SKYDAS Standard 2 door, the SKYDAS Standard 3 also exhibits excellent sound and thermal insulation characteristics and is suitable for residential houses and apartments.
This door has a superior waterproof finish suitable for outdoors and is made of certified Belgian board Umidax HLS, which retains its characteristics even after mechanical damage. The board is painted in polyurethane paint that does not discolour for many years. The SKYDAS Standard 3 door can also be fire resistant with either internal external opening.
Galvanized RUUKKI steel is recommended for entrance door construction.

Standard Door Set
- 1. Door frame - bent L-shaped profile of 100mm, fixed in the door aperture by 16 pins, protected from cutting by steel liners of 24mm. Complete thermal insulation by rock wool or foam

Door Characteristics
Safe - The specially bent L-shaped 100mm wide door frame is not only wider than that of an ordinary armoured door, but also has 6 bending edges and thus is stronger than rectangular or tube frame, which have only 4 bending edges. Moreover, the frame is fixed in the opening by 16 plugs, which are protected from cutting by 24mm steel liners and thus there is no need to set the door in concrete. Internal leaf construction is reinforced by rigid edges that will not easily permit deforming during forced access such as with a burglary attempt. One of the locks installed in this door model must be no lower than class 5 security and protected by a drilling resistant manganese plate. Both locks are installed in protective steel boxes, and a separate protective sleeve secures each pin in the frame.
SKYDAS Standard 3 hinges are reinforced and adjustable. On the hinges side there are 4 protective pins (16 mm) that do not allow dislodging the door leaf if the hinges are cut.
The locks can be replaced without disassembling the door, so it is easy and fast.
Saves the heat in your home - As the bent profile leaf structure does not have closed cavities, it can be completely thermally insulated by 50mm rock wool. The L-shaped bent frame and threshold ensure exclusive tightness as an additional seal is applied to the entire perimeter (two seals in total).
Thermal transmittance of SKYDAS Standard 2 is 1.3 W/(m2-K), i.e. the same as 6-chamber plastic windows (the lower the transmittance, the more heat is held in). Therefore, this door is suitable not only for an apartment, but also for a private house (using the materials suitable for outdoor conditions).
Tight, good heat and sound insulation - Due to the above mentioned full thermal insulation door construction, the sound insulation of the SKYDAS Standard 2 door is 41dB.
This door is especially tight and therefore, completely eliminates external odours and smoke.
Fire resistant - With additional fire resistant components SKYDAS Standard 2 doors offer fire protection for up to 45 minutes and can withstand temperatures of 1000oC. The certificate was issued by Inspecta Estonia OU, No. 1527-CPD-0017. The boiler room doors of private houses already have to meet fire protection requirements. The fire can also spread from the garage.
Durable and lasting, convenient to use - All SKYDAS doors are manufactured by precision computer controlled machines - Amada - which can process metal to within a precision of 0.1 mm, therefore their construction is precisely accurate and straight. As hinges with supporting bearings are used, the doors are easy to open and close, despite having heavier weight characteristic to normal metal doors. The tests indicated that after 100,000 cycles of opening and closing, the structure of the door remained completely intact.
As the internal construction of the door has no closed cavities, the entire metal construction is covered in powder coating, which ensures long-term surface protection from corrosion.
The door finish is made of waterproof, certified Belgian board Umidax HLS, which can be milled without fear of distortion, flaking or losing its characteristics. The board is painted in your selected polyurethane paint that does not discolour for many years.
if required, when, for instance, your home or business undergoes a colour change during external refurbishment,the door finish can be easily replaced.
Use of galvanized RUUKKI steel is recommended for entrance door construction.

Security Levels
However, if a higher security level is necessary, choose security doors SKYDAS Premium, which burglar resistance was tested and certified in an authoritative scientific research laboratory - IFT Rosenheim - in Germany. These door models were developed embracing the knowledge of the aforementioned laboratory concerning the many possible ways and methods of burglary.
Technical Details
Each door is manufactured precisely according to specific measurements.
Important: Burglar resistance certificate is applicable to door measurements 2100mm x 980mm. The height and width of the door can be increased by 10% or reduced by 20%.
Fire resistance specification EI45 for fire resistant door is applicable to measurements up to 2100x 980mm. If the height or width is increased by 15% (but not more than 20% of the total area), fire resistance will be to EI30 standard.
